In a lovely bright space in Gorst Road, NW10, we repair and conserve books, handbind new ones, and offer consultation on the care and preservation of  personal items and archival collections.

A bespoke commission service is available for you to work with us to plan your one-of-kind bespoke piece of functional art, made using traditional techniques and materials. Created for that special person, unique gifting occasion, or just to treat yourself to a custom-made item where no-one else in the world will have one quite like it!

This website is in its infancy and in the fullness of time will feature an online shop to buy lovely handmade items, an events page where you can come and meet us at local craft events, and a gallery featuring conservation case studies.

We are getting a lot of requests for bookbinding workshops and we plan to start running beginners sessions from Spring 2027.
